A hearty Thank You to one and all who helped to make this year’s IFMA Holiday Social and Auction a great success!! All of our auction donors were very generous this year in their gifts and we had some amazing auction items brought to the table (literally). Bidding was boisterous and special thanks to all our auction winners for their generosity, which raised $3000.00 to benefit the Penfield’s Children Center.
Many hours went into organizing this annual event from both the Service Committee and the Special Events Committee. Their time and commitment to SEW IFMA is greatly appreciated!
Your SEW IFMA Service Committee

Add to Calendar
Please join your IFMA Service Committee at the Waukesha Salvation Army in serving dinner and engaging in conversation with the gentlemen attending the evening event. This Waukesha County location is the largest homeless shelter for men and sleeps 40-50 men per night at their Community Center Emergency Lodge. Your IFMA Service Committee will be providing a catered spaghetti dinner for the evening meal. Volunteering is a great way for you to partner with the Salvation Army of Waukesha, provide a service to this community and enjoy an event with other Service Committee and IFMA members.
The Southeastern Wisconsin Chapter of IFMA invites you to participate in the FM Forum. Take advantage of the knowledge and experience of your fellow members. Open conversations and ask questions. This chat format has recently been added to the website and we invite you to engage with other SEW IFMA members and share.
2019 Sponsorship Opportunities
The Southeast Wisconsin Chapter of the International Facility Management Association (IFMA), founded in 1987, is dedicated to supporting and helping meet the changing informational and educational needs of in-house corporate, government and health care facility management executives and their staff. These individuals are responsible for the planning, construction, and ongoing management of millions of square feet of facilities throughout southeastern Wisconsin and beyond.
Our chapter is off to a strong year. We have eleven new members who recently joined the chapter in January and have excellent learning and networking opportunities for our members in place. We would like to continue to offer valuable educational opportunities for our members while supporting our local communities and could use your help in becoming a sponsor of SEW IFMA or continuing your sponsorship of SEW IFMA.
The benefits of becoming sponsor of SEW IFMA are the following:
- Direct advertising and recognition to over 200 local facilities professionals.
- Receive unique and valuable marketing opportunities for your company.
- Networking with our local Chapter including two additional state Chapters.
- Stay ahead of the competition by being in our exclusive company online directory.
- Access for you and your team to take part in our premier educational activities.
More specifically and most importantly, your contributions will help us develop and provide top rated educational programs, premier facility access events, and exceptional networking opportunities. Program Committee members help plan educational programs, building/construction site tours, and a number of social events throughout the year. Members meet bi-monthly, currently at Moe’s Irish Tavern on Highway 100 and Bluemound. We brainstorm and coordinate new events/tours. Typically each member is assigned to coordinate an event. Currently along with our monthly programs, planning is in the works for our annual Member Appreciation Event in October at Veloce Go Cart Racetrack and Point Burger Bar. The Programs Committee is a great way to get involved and meet our members along with the opportunity to have a say in our Chapters future events.
Please contact Lou Kowieski, Program Chair if interested in joining the Programs Committee: email@example.com
The SEW IFMA Education Committee is charged with providing educational opportunities to all the members of SEW IFMA through educational programs, student scholarships and member professional development. It will work to ensure that the member educational and certification needs are met.

Members support financial fundraising events twice per year while continuing to provide physical donations or volunteer services throughout the year.
