NOTE CHANGE TO TOUR START LOCATION:  Due to construction on the exterior of the Mackie building, the tour will start in the Plankinton Arcade located at 161 W. Wisconsin Avenue Milwaukee, WI 53202 by the Plankinton statue just outside TJ Maxx. 

Join Historic Milwaukee Inc. and explore the unique architecture and streetscape of downtown to learn how Milwaukee’s three founders used Lake Michigan, three rivers, and the harbor for commercial use to create present day Milwaukee. This 1.5 hour walking tour showcases some of the historical structures present in Milwaukee's downtown including Milwaukee's first skyscraper, the birthplace of the National Weather Service, Milwaukee's last remaining iron-clad building and of course the Calatrava at the Milwaukee Art Museum.

After the walking tour, we will head to Rock Bottom Brewery to enjoy networking & appetizers!

Parking available at Grand Avenue Parking Structure.

We will meet at 4:30pm in the Plankinton Arcade, 161 W. Wisconsin Avenue, Milwaukee, by the Plankinton statue just outside TJ Maxx.
